How did you and your husband meet?
Stephen and I met through a mutual friend the summer before our last year of college. We had grown up just 5 minutes away from each other, went to rival high schools, frequented the same local hang-out spots, and had friends in common, but we never met until Andy introduced us. I was going to school in Colorado and Stephen was at Chico State, so we ended up doing long distance for a year until we graduated and I moved back to our home town. And the friend who introduced us ended up getting ordained and married us!
Tell us about your wedding dress.
My dress was designed By Maggie Sottero, and purchased from Bella Donna Bridal but I ended up customizing it- While I was dress shopping I could not find anything that fit the image I had in my head, so I ended up buying a beautiful simple dress, and then added to it to make it exactly what I wanted. I selected beautiful vintage chantilly lace to trim the top and bottom of the dress, as well as the veil; and satin buttons to replace the original corset back.
How was your experience at Behind the Scene Sounds?
My experience at Behind the Scene Sounds was absolutely wonderful. You were hands down our favorite vendors to work with. On top of that you were incredibly affordable and provided beautiful lighting with your packages.
What did you like most about working with Behind the Scene Sounds?
My favorite thing about working with the two of you was that you took the time to get to know us as a couple. We felt that you truly cared about us, and what we wanted out of our wedding. Not to mention that Dee was my hero during the wedding itself- he could just look at my face and know if I was worried about something; and if I was, he was the one to take care of it.
What did you like most about your wedding?
What I liked most about the wedding (aside from actually marrying the love of my life) was seeing all the personal touches come together. From all the DIY projects to the personal promises in our vows, everything was uniquely and lovingly put together to represent us.
